..... having a wee think...

I'm pretty sure i'm going to get a new bottom end for free'ish.... so should i uprate the top end further? Take the cam profile to 300 or so, with solid lifters etc, bigger valves?

For - more revs, more bhp
against - still havent really used the current top end used twice

Should keep your current top end for now
See what it can do properly
With a good bottom end

if it was me, whilst the engine is apart id spend as much money on it as i possibly could, to save having to take it all apart again and have extra cost.........

No point is fitting bigger cams. they'll just narrow your power band, move it up the rev range and make your gearing even longer.

dont agree..... if the engine can take the revs it will move the power band up to give more power, if he changes the final drive to make use of the power band it will make a much more fun track day driving.

Your not having much luck with this engine are you Adam.

Straight cut ratios in the gearbox next? Quaiff do a 6 speed conversion for the F20???

Hope it gets sorted. Want some track videos!!
