In the Calibra turbo the C20Let's gearbox has a 4WD setup and if you want to fit one in your corsa you have to convert it to 2WD.
Instead of doing this can you convert your corsa to be 4WD instead of converting the gearbox. If so how???
Thanks

At a totally random guess you will need to fabricate a rear suspension set up which would be 4WD friendly...

plus welding some kind of a transmission tunnel into the corsa floor pan...

then you need to find a transfer box which wont fall apart at the first hint of torque...

there you go, easy as that

It's a big job, requires a lot of cutting and welding.

There is nothing wrong with a well maintained transfer box, it's just the ones on cars that haven't been maintained that are problematic. Though they aren't the best.

One will have the mounts, the expensive one, the other will just be the tx box blanking plate.

an m-tech 2wd conversion kit for the F28 is like £95 odd quid.
The cost to make your corsa 4x4 would be ££££
