Are they worth getting over the standard filter? Ive de-restricted the airbox already but im just wondering if il see any difference with a panel filter?

filter,imo,yes

mines a lot more throttle responsive with modded airbox and panel filter

You will notice a differance yes. Making the induction system less restrictive can only be a god thing. The OE paper ones are crap in comparison.
