Is it possible to have a harness if you dont have a cage in your car?
Also is this frowned apon just because i still want to have my back seats.

The harnesses shouldnt really be fastened to a roll cage so you dont need one, however they should be fastened down in the back of the car somewhere. The rear seat belt bolts are usually a favourite place.
This means that if you still have the back seats in, the harnesses will be on top of them and tight when they are worn, so the seats wont be usable

Harnesses + back seats looks stupid in my eyes. There were several cars at PVS with harnesses, back seats and even a cage...why?

As far as im aware harnesses need to be bolted to the car itself not just a strut brace because in the event of a crash the strut brace could give/move, meaning the people using the harnesses wont be secure

When I installed my Corbeau buckets I had to use harnesses as the standard seatbelts wouldn’t fit onto the new sub frames.
I used 3 point harnesses that also unclipped behind the seat so that the seats were still able to recline.
I mounted them to the standard rear seat belt mounting points, so I was still able to comfortably fit 2 people in the back.
It also passed an MOT before anyone says its unsafe
