Right ok weird one this but need help......
Been with Orange for a number of years with no problems but something has really annoyed me and i want to switch to Vodafone.
Whilst i know im in contact - i dont fancy "buying" myself out much so what i was going to do is this.....
Change my tariff to lowest possible.
Take out contact with Vodafone
Only problem is i cant take my number - anyway round this????
Mobile network workers help or something?

Phone Orange... let them know what you want to do and they'll probably be quite honest and let you know your options .etc

If you are still with orange, then I don't think it'd be possible to have the same number on both networks.
Maybe you could blag it saying you want to change the current number to Vodafone for business use then get a new number from Orange for personnal, or something like that.

Prolly charge u £10 for a new number, whats ya prob teddy?
Oh and they may charge u £20 for the pac code as your still in contract. If you get thru and they dont sound helpfull hand up and re dial. Its all about speakiing to someone nice

if uve been on orange for years, u can change to vodafone and keep ure number yes...takes about 10 days to swap over tho...
unless u mean ure in a 12 month contract thingie?
