1.6 16v sport....... the induction hose from the air filter with the ait sensor on it...has any1 replaced this??
im after a samco or something similar but dont know what diameter/ length or supplier...
help anyone??

ive seen it dont on the gsi or using a mantzel.......but these are shorter pipes

It is samco 
some rally website online.
do a search, ebay, larkspeed i think, deemon tweaks, samco itself maybe, should tell you who the distrubuters are.

nope...not like them........the black hose on the top pic, with the AIT sensor hangin out of it....i want that hose!!! lol

shouldn't collapse, mine felt quite strong, does it have crease's in it then, maybe invest in a new one.

the ribs on it.......they shrink back, lifting the air filter upwards - it then knocks on the bonnet 
nothing wrong with it..it still functions fine, i just want some silicone hoses......ive already got samco coolants

yer i see what you mean, well when i had the purple pipe in place it never collapsed as the pipe was fixed and didn't move so the piping never moved either i'm assuming.
the trunking goes all the way over to the other side of the inlet manifild right next to the dis pack, so it would be quite hard to get some samco to suite it all.

the sensor on that1 is ona solid pipe, the flexy bit isnt attached is it??

i used samco, 60mm inlet with a 45degree bend, then cut it down a bit to fit
