I'm having a bit of trouble with my back seats.. after putting them down they won't click back into place. There is about a 6 or 7 inch gap between the seats and the parcel shelf. It's about one or two clicks away from being all the way back in place but it just won't move at all, neither completely upright or back down flat again. It seems like one side is okay, but won't go anywhere because the other side is stuck!
Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have any ideas? As far as I can see there are no seatbelts or anything in the way, I've tried pushing and pulling but it's just not moving and I don't want to break it..
Any help would be greatly appreciated because anyone sitting in the back'll be a tad uncomfortable after a while.

Stupid question probably but you did keep holding the button down when you were pushing them back didnt you as theres a couple of bits they click into.

I did yeah, it feels like the drivers side button might not be working.. as in the button can be pushed down, but it doesn't do anything. I don't know that for sure though, could just be me..
It's a pretty awkward thing to try and sort out over the internet!

Have you tries pulling it out more, then trying to push it back, or was that as far as it got? If you can't get it sorted I'll pop round and have another look

i had this, ended up stripping the back seat to remove the catch, on the catch on the seat there is a plunger with a clip on it that as you press the button to move the seat down it pulls the plunger, wot happens is the clip comes off the end of the plunger and gets stuck so the seat wont move

Hopper, cheers - what you're saying sounds right, how long did it take you to fix it all?
Yeah mate I tried pulling it out more too but it won't budge.. You're more than welcome to pop round sometime but you don't have to! Hopefully I'll be able to fix it, if it is was Hopper's saying.

Haha, awesome. Thanks a lot, I'll give that a go in the morning, if not I'll strip the seats.

No luck with the screwdriver, they wouldn't go down any further than I could push with my fingers. Guess I'm going to have to strip the seat then, although I haven't a clue how..

Ragging them about doesn't seem like it'd work though.. They seem like the wont budge at all! Maybe I'm just being too careful though because I don't want to break them even more!
