Had this lovely task today
But I got quite a bit done, mare much more progress than when I tried to remove the dynamat stuff from my green one
The actual matting stuff is out, but its left tar/glue/whatever all over. My plan is to paint it up inside so obviously I need rid of it so I can get the primer down
What did you use to remove the stuff left on the metal?
Any tips you can give me etc?

Oh also near the edges there seems to be something else I've "scrapered"
Its like an orangey colour. Is this just the sealant from joins in the panels? Did you re apply some more sealant afterwards?

brush white spirit over it, let it soak in then rub it off with an old towel or something.
