My bank account has been taking a bit of a battering over the past couple of weeks. Have just ordered some new alloy wheels and suspension. Along with some shiny bits for the engine bay and a full cambelt change service.

Car is coming out of the bodyshop tomorrow and I can't wait to get all the bits fitted.

Going to book the car in at Courtenay tomorrow afternoon so the car should soon be spitting out around 300bhp.

Quite excited actually, as the car is finally getting to the stage that I've always wanted.

I'm hoping to get a sports button fitted so the map can be changed between say 230/300bhp at the touch of a button. I know Courtenay do it for the mk5 not sure about the coupe yet though.

Who Courtenay? Haven't spoken to them yet but am planning on Stage 3 with the VXR turbo and front mounted intercooler etc.. plus the new Dbilas turbo manifold and uprated camshafts. Might go for the VXR injectors and fuel rail, but apparently there is a huge waiting list for this.
