All you need to do is get your solicitor to write them a nice letter then they will give you your money back. Unless the dealer is really stupid. Sometimes problems are well hidden by the garage, like with the broken Corsa I bought. You learn the hard way, but at least the law is on your side.

if its a small back street garage they will just change there name if they get much shoot off soicitors ect
that way they cant get done as u can only take the company to court once they change name theres not a lot u could do
at the end of the day u didnt test drive it or have anyone look over it for u if u did u wouldnt have bought it

Thats not actually true. The company director has responsibility even if the company changes it's name.
Also, whenever you buy anything, it has to be fit for purpose. Whether you have tested it or not.

do you have a pic of it advertised? and also did it have MOT, TAX etc...?and service history?
