Been wanting buckets for ages, i sacrificed my Rieger RS bodykit for these though
went for black/grey corbeau forza's and sparco harnesses.
in 2 minds now whether or not to strip the back

May as well at least take the seats out , not like you'll be able to use them easily with fixed back buckets.

Must be wrong mate as we didnt have any problem with the pug going in for a MOT and we still had the back seats in aswell as the fixback bucket seats up front

If you have back seats but no access to the door from them it's an MOT failure. So if the seats don't fold then you fail. Though it might depend on the tester...

i failed with buckets n a stripped out rear because...
even thought there was no seats in the rear i had no seatbelts fitted which must be fitted seats or no seats
they wouldnt accept the harness mounting point on the seat. they were ok with seat belt mounting point on the c pillar and the b pillar but for the inside point i used the subframe point. they said if i wanted to keep the seats then i had to weld brackets onto the floor of the car on the inside (handbrake side) to mouint the 3rd harness point too.
so i ripped the seats out n got a gsi set...

if there are no seat belts or plugs, it is not a fail.
only a fail if you have seats, with no belts, or parts of the belts left in.
As for the seat harness point surely they cant fail you on that as that is where the origonal plug mounts to

aj - his failed as his belt mounts would have gone with the seat, not car, if he'd had an accident
It is NOT a fail to have no rears with no seat belts...
