for £30 for a water pump you mights aswell

as it may die in the next 10k and then you need to strip it all down again and get another new belt

ok

sometime back, cambelt on car was changed but not whole kit and water pump also was not change...

any recommendations on this?

Might be changing some lifters soon, so might as well be doing the necessary for the belt.

If the water pump dies then it doesn't just stop pumping water. Which isn't a big problem if you notice your car getting hot. It also takes the rest of the engine with it by breaking the timing belt
