How do you remove it, do you have to remove the liner in the boot and take it of form the inside?

pop the trim off the inside of the tailgate its held on but 3 8mm nuts

Yes pull the trim off the inside of the boot, look inside and its pretty straight forward. Bascially 4 nuts holding it on then just pull it off from the outside.

Yeah there is 3 small holes and one big one. You cant just leave it off put it that way.
