Okay, I got the engine fitted now and it'll be ready to drive Monday morning. What do you peeps who have the same engine fitted do about insurance and shit?
Do you tell them there's a 2.0 in it or say that it's the engine you had before? I dunno what to do, helppppppppp!!

^ Yeah I know that, but loads of people just tell them it's a 1.2 or 1.4 or whatever.
So I dunno, I'll insure it as a 2.0 I suppose, to be on the safeside.

What do you mean "to be on the safeside"
You don't get it done then leave it unchanged

^ They wouldn't give you the money back for your car anyway even if you said it was a 2.0.

if declared like for like, then yes...
but its not all about you getting money back from insrance, its the third paties aswell
say your in a crash, take another car out, hit a lamp etc etc, caase public damnage.. your insurance look under your bonnet and spot a 2.0, they will just turn about and say fuck off to you, which mean's you will have to pay for ALL damages both to other car, and the public property (and lamp posts etc arn not cheap :lol
all could get quite a few points on your liecence and a nice fine, for driving without valid insurance
