Well im back in a corsa now. Bought an arden blue sport with an xe in it today.. Pretty much standard exterior apart from cav gsi wheels.

Has a custom stainless 4 branch and exhaust, quaiffe slipper and a gas flowed head..

Will get pics an that up once its had a makeover over this next week.

Main reason for posting is it is running with a corsa airbox just now, but a few people have told me this wont be doing it any good and could be holding it back a bit??

What is everyone else running?? Am I better just getting a cone filter for it or deristricting the box maybe?

Cheers

I don't think I've seen one in a Corsa with a standard airbox

Have seen quite alot of Green and RamAir filters on XE's tho! I can't comment on what's best etc.

mod the outlet of the airbox so its 3" big, and use a performance panel filter, will be better than any induction kit, due to the heat generated by an xe

Yup sounds like the one mate, heard it was in trader after I bought it. It needs a bit of work but its already stripped down in the garage.. Having all the plastics done gloss black along with wheels, slamming it and just a general tidy up..

Oh yeh and that bonnet is getting thrown in the nearest skip asap.. lol..

Gonna take the airbox off 2moro and see if its had the insides ripped out if not al get it done..

Not going into detail about why I didnt take it on here, just too many things put me off it.. Up to date pictures would be nice for a start, and I think my idea of clean is different to most as far as I can tell.. especially when travelling 5hrs to just turn round again.. ah well these things happen.
