it won't bottom out with just springs people worry about the shocks with just springs but more often than not they are ok on there own.

One of my mates said it may bottom out and the wear tyres down really quickly so i had a chat with a guy at Vauxhall who said it will be fine in terms of tyres being worn out if i get all the steering checked over after it's been done and he also said it may bottom out with just springs.

it wont bottom out on just springs. It will however kill your dampers quicker as they are not designed to be used with the springs. You will have a very bouncy ride after a while with just the springs, do it properly and go full kit

i lowered my c 60 mm on 16's with just the springs and original shocks,it dosent catch or scrub or any thing.
the only thing i did was cut the bump stops in half and the ride is great
