At Coventry Colloseum.

I reserved my judgement til I saw him and went there with an open mind and boy did he impress me!

It was in the small venue, there were no more than 250 people in there. For a 19 year old he has a fantastic voice, probably better live than on his album (which he found out on stage had just hit the number 3 spot).

I'm usually very judgemental and picky when I go to see bands, being in a band myself I fault find constantly. He and his band really was superb in every way, I think playing in such a small venue makes it more personal, I was no more than 3m away from him on stage.

He is on my highly recommended list.

Ben.

The album is called 'These Streets' and you would recognise the track 'Last Request'. I urge you to buy the album though, the lad is only new and the money for the album would help him get his career on the right track

Paulo Nutini is a Glaswegian of Italian descent. His music is very acoustic based and chilled out summery stuff , thought inspiring music. Not like that cock James Blunt.

Can't stand his music personally but I know what you mean about respecting musicians etc and you can see the lad has talent!
