hey...

i'm in england... gf has just flown out to majorca to meet up with her parents for a week.

we're both on o2 contracts. if i txt her how many txts will it take off my allowance? or does it not work like that.

all help is much appreciated

I've been texting my folks in tenerife and only costs me 1 text per time.

Never heard of 4 for them and 2 for you

nah if in magaluf and you txt home , my mate on 2 was getting 4 taken from his allowence , his missus was getting charged 2 when she sent him a txt

you should only be charged 1 txt if your texting a mobile phone origionaly bought in the uk.

The person at home (uk for example) only gets charged going rate as they arent to know where the person on the other end is. Thats how it used to be anyway.

when calling or texting from uk to a uk phone its is the same price as would normally be no matter where in the world the other phone is in the world, just like calls are same price too its the person who recieves the call that gets charged as they are using different network to recieve it

if your getting charged to text your mate in australia has he got a uk phone or an australian one, if australian that is why you will be charged
