Southend have officialy rejected a £1m bid from Derby for Fredy Eastwood.
He is worth lots more, try again Derby when you can afford more and he is actually interested (which he won't be)

People are saying that he is worth millions I know
He is worth millions but not £4m.
I personally wouldn't sell him under any circumstances UNLESS we need the money bigtime.
The thing is, he doesn't want to leave he loves it in his home town!!
If he goes we will be stuffed because, Ricketts, Bradbury and Lawson won't get enough goals.
Id day, re-consider around the £2.5m mark

Well you have to look how much Ashton went from Crewe for, and how much Earnshaw left Cardiff for. I'd say £2,000,000 and above.

Rob Shepherd reckons we will push for them
Safety for me is the main priority, after that it's another season in the Championship, 1 step closer to the new stadium.
2 years ago our chairman said "I will not let you down within 3 years we will be in the Championship" (we made it in 2) then he said "we will push for the premiership" (everyone kinda laughed but he was serious)
Never say never

See THIS is why no-one buy British... he is NOT worth millions, he is not even a Prem standard player :S
You could buy Saviloa who is a top top class 25 yr old striker for £4m FFS

push for play offs? seriously, the championship is like quick sand. soon as your in you panic and sink further in. luton were the best team in a while last season for staying up there in there first season, but its a division where you need to play shit and win some days, and luton towards the end of the season only had the 1st part right.

Indeed, we dropped off the pace big time. But the aim was to stay up, and that we did.
