If you can't even get insured on a VTS then you're pretty buggered, as all the similar cars are gonna be the same price.

...and how on earth are you gonna insure a GT4 if you can't insure a VTS

I think you should spend half that and get an R5GTT. Top little cars. Gonna buy another myself next year.

anything else could be looking at ? insurance is bad am told on vts and gti's ?
wouldnt say no to a vts though and tune it

Whats the limit you will spend on insurance then?

It's dearer for me to insure an escort rs turbo tpft then it is a Focus RS f/c...logical

Think it depends on how well looked after they are, as with any car.

Mine never went wrong. Only had to replace water pump in entire ownership.

Why not a VTR then? They're only group 8 insurance and will tan the ass off most other cars, bar 106gti's and VTS's.

he looked after his r5 body wise yeah just ragged it alot. says vtr is to slow and everybody has them so nothing new. and hates honda's so the civic is a nono

You said faster than an xr2i, which i imagine is not slow. like i said anything around that speed isn't gong to be cheap insurance for a teenager or a 20 something.

true there, but Ive spoke to my mate with the xr2i and hes debating whther to get a vtr now as the xr2i is playing up since he put another engine in it. stil lookin at vts myself or a corsa c sri atm
