boots, socks and shin pads with ankle protectors. Like i said, doesn't matter which boots i wear. Might be to do with my massive yeti feet. I've gone for that approach luigi, wore my boots yesterday even though the ground was slightly hard, though i might as well get a few good hours rubbage early on!

Last season i got athletes foot, plus major rubbage which resulted in half of my foot having skin hanging off, wasn't very nice, not wore them nike boots since.

I suffer from bad blisters too, ended up cutting most the skin off Vaseline your feet allover, pair of trainer socks on, shinpads over top and then football socks. Seems to work for me and I got through a game Tuesday night with no pain/after effects

I use talc on my feet...normally blisters come due to your feet sweating and then rubbing...stop them from sweating in the first place and they should not rub...

I used to get blisters all the time, but I just popped the blisters and put Vinegar on Now the skins hard as fook and I never get blisters

Edit: Oh, and the pain of the vinegar will make you forget all about the blister

best thing to do is put the boots on, tie them up and put each foot in a bucket of water so each foot is soaked, then wear then for 30mins, and they will mould to your feet and will stop the rubbing

Ian Wright used to wear his boots in the bath when he got a new pair to stop them rubbing

not to go on about Puma Kings but, I have worn mine twice now since getting them (2 hours each time) and have experienced no rubbing at all. So comfortable.

Unlike my F50s which used to hurt after about 70/80 mins.
