Graphics cards are not my forté so i need some advice. I currently have Nvidia Geforce 6600 PCI-E and its caused no end of problems. PC wont boot up with both monitors plugged in, a lot of the features dont work etc I rebuilt this PC with a new motherboard earlier today (Was Abit KN8 Ultra, now using Asus A8N-E) and its causing the same problems booting up, but even worse now is a cant plug in the 2nd monitor when the pc is on and then enable it, as it automatically blue screens. I got the latest drivers straight off the Nvidia site, and im using WinXP Pro SP2.
Anyway, ive decided ive had enough so gonna fork out for a new GFX card and hope it sorts my problems. Dont wanna go for NVidia again, so any recommendations of a PCI-E card with dual DVI out, im not a big gamer but watch a lot of films on the projector connected to it, and got a budget of say £80 max.
Pllllleeeaaasseee help cos im fucking fed up with this PC at the moment!

Or, if you want to avoid nVidia, how abotu this one?

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=337844

I've never used ATI cards, so can't say whether that's a good one or not, but the X1600XT seemed to get good reviews when it was released, from memory...

Cheers Dan, ordered that one. Bought a silent PSU the other day with 140mm fan too so that should go well it

Bought this case too

fed up of trying to work with the one i got at the moent (blue acrylic one) as you got to dismantle pretty much the whole thing to get access to the drives. Hopefully when its done being rebuilt it will all be finished properly, i can close the case and leave it be for a while to come

The next case I'm looking at has the drive-caddy mounted sideways, rather than length-ways, making it extremely easy to add/remove drives!

Suffice to say, the case is absolutely huge!
