Right...
I'm a school leaver, i got a aprentaship (sp) in I.T, and to be honest find it really boring.
I want to go into the world of cars, ideally cars and computers, like ECU re-mapping or something like that..
Anyone in that sort of job or been in a job similar?
Or can anyone recommend a job?
This is my life we're talking about people, so please, no silly comments, stupid ideas, i need something i'm capaple(sp) of doing.

To be honest your best getting your qualifications in IT (or whatever computing courses you can) and then once you have these trying to move into that field.
I doubt you'd find specific courses, or jobs open to new comers for what your wanting to do.

Three things.
This thread was only 5 away from the top when you topped it.
Secondly, rather than putting (sp) after things, find out their correct spellings.
Thirdly, the best way to ruin a hobby is to get paid to do it. If you like cars and computers my recommendation would be to pursue a career in something else.

As true as you can get, i like cars, got an apprenticeship with VW, now hate the job and cant wait to finish and start a different career (hopefully driving but who knows)

construction trades is wheres the money is at... well from what ive seen in my life and comments from others in motoring
best thing i ever done.... £120 an hr sometimes on home jobs

Yeah best bet if your not going to go to Uni get a trades job (Sparky / Plumber etc) or Oil Industry (electrical/mechanical fitter etc)!!!

stay in IT, good pay, and everythings going electronics any way, so if you really want to do remapping etc get ya quaifcations and then move on to it

Sorry I can't be more helpful.
If learning about computers is boring you won't do well academically in this area.
Mapping cars is all electronics if you want to fix your own mistakes and not pay someone else to do it, which again requires learning.
I'm only talking honestly, I lost interest in photography when it became less of a pleasurable afternoon out taking pictures and more of a requirement to be there at the right time and spend hours afterwards editing. Ruined it.
My suggestion would be see through whatever you're doing at the moment so it looks like you're capable of completing what you started.
[Edit - then retrain to be a gas fitter, thats where the money is]
