Basically, can you use day insurance policies if you dont actually have insurance?

My insurance runs out next year but instead of renewing can i just go with no insurance (car is parked off raod) and insure only when i need to drive the car?

yeh you probably could do this look at dayinsure.co.uk and read the small print

Yes but you will need to have tax on the car to drive it.

Damn I forgot about tax

Oh well, just didnt see the point of insuring a car that i'd hardly need.
