wrong. It will be a very fast 1.4 vauxhall.

Fact is, there is loads of cars that are 1.4 and faster.
R5GTT, Punto GT, UNO turbo and there is some none turbos that are faster.

Even the 106 1.3 Rallye with a bit of modification could reach bhp figures of 130 with not an extreme amount of cash being splashed out

Nah dont get me wrong, i do like vauxhalls they beat peugeots on reliabilty and are very strong cars but if you want speed and handling its peugeots - but its just my opinion

hello mate, got some good results, were still suprised by that v6 cav making such big power, we did 2 runs same power both times, all the other cars were getting pretty realistic power rigures etc!

and yes it is me, and no they aint my socks, its my loafers. can you see something fantastic floating in the air above the astra!

p.s. the bit at the end of the graph is indeed the rev limiter. it may not seem 100% in the correct place as we enter the revs at 60 mph offt he cars taco, they are never that accurate..... so sometimes the rev limiter may seem a little different to what they should be.

yeah the v6 astra was very impressive.

rob, did you ever 1/4mile yours when it was at that spec? i want to take her to the pod now to see what she can do.

so broster, if the rev limit cut off was more accurate, could i have seen a slightly higher power output if it went to my 'actual' rev limit? closer to the 120 mark?

it does go to your 'actual' rev limit, the rpm on the graph is wrong, its just difficult to get the rpm right for each car, so they set it at a pre designated point, and for some cars it doesnt look right, like my graph, where my rev limit on the graph is not at the 7200rpm it was actually set at

i never got mine on the 1/4

oh right now i understand then.

well i 1/4 miled mine when standard and got a 17.8. now with 25bhp up, reckon i can knock a second of that time?

cant wait to get it at the pod again

if you take a look at the power line on my graph. where it hits the limiter at 115bhp then drops under 30bhp, then rushes back up to about 118bhp, before it drops off again.

why was 'only' (lol) 115 recorded?
