3rd person.
You will be able to use First Person mode for pinpoint shooting just like in the last MGS games.

but you wont be able to walk around in fp mode then?

iirc you couldn't move around in first person on the earlier MGS games, but having heard very little about MGS4 means i have no real idea, sorry!

it will be in 3rd person as in the rest of the series
just found a few vids not sure if there in game cut scenes or just promoting the game and storyline

It's very unlikely you will be able to walk around in first person Steve, it's not that sort of game.
