I wouldn't say Fabregas is a prospect these days, hes just world class
Agree with Sooty, need several top stierkers and as Walcott is now a winger we only have henry van persie and adebayor along with the few decent youngsters... tevez is the kind of signing we need IMO!!

I think we will sign Tevez as he is currently on £20k a week, we can afford to offer him £60k. Only thing that worries me tho is that we have a few decent strikers now. Obviosuly Tevez and Henry would be the first choices, but i dont see how you can leave Van Persie on the bench? not a bad back up striker tho
Reyes is as good as gone imo. Never was impressed with him espically as we paid so much for him and he didn't justify the fee imo.
As with regards to Baptista i really hope we dont sign him, just for the main reason he was as good as ours and turned us down for Real Madrid.
Overall it would be great for the strikers. Knowing there is talent on the bench that can come on at any time to replace them.
Just look at Chelsea, Andriy off, Drogba on
Arsenal don't (and have never really had) the depth in squad that the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea (and now Liverpool) have. I'd love for Tevez to sign but we need another powerhouse in midfield like Vieira. We also need a big ass defender

That would be great... Adebayor, Lupoli, Bendtner, Aliadiere as emergency backup...dont forgoet vp can play left wing as well... also remember rosicky is not a winger at all... he is a CAM... he needs to be played there... we have this as a team and IMO the CB and CF are too low...
Lehmann/Almunia/Poom
Eboue/Lauren/Gilbert (Loan) Toure/Cygan Senderos/Djorou/Hoyte Cole/Clichy/Flamini
Ljungberg/Hleb/Walcott Fabregas/Flamini/Rosicky Gilberto/DIaby van Persie/Walcott/Rosicky/Hleb
Henry/Adebayor van Persie/Walcott

Tevez agent is hoping Roma as he will pocket more dosh through it, but Tevez personally will favour Man U or Arsenal over Roma, plus he's best pals with Javier Mascherano and Man Utd have been linked with him aswell.

I've gone onto a good South American source since my last reply, I think Robbo will be a tad dissapointed, although I'm sad to see Tevez leave, I would rather him go to Arsenal, him and Henry playing together would make me stay in on Saturday nights just to watch MOTD.

ARSENAL: Still no news from the Emirates Stadium. But the Press Association have suggested that the Gunners are closing in on a deal which would see Ashley Cole leave for Chelsea in return for a hefty cash sum plus William Gallas. The Gunners have also missed out on Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, so attention turns to Real Madrid's Julio Baptista and a proposed swap deal with Jose Antonio Reyes. The Spaniard, in his 545th comment on the subject this summer, says he still knows nothing about a "dream" move to Real.
Middsboro Chief Exec has basically told the world that kenyon is at emirates sortong out the gallas + £10m for ashley!

should tell Chelsea to fuck off then.
Cole will have to play well if he wants to play for England, as Bridge will be pushing his place all the way. So even if he doesnt want to be there he'll give what he can.
