Mine has the Steinmetz grill, I like it but tempted to go back with a kamei as I used to have one before I had my GSi kit on.

I had to cut the lugs off the bottom of the grill (kamei grilles are really well made!) and drill 2 new mounting holes in the slam panel. line it all up and bolt it on. tricky bit was getting under the slam pane to hold the nut on the back of the bolt, would be simple without the radiator in tho.

i didnt have to cut mine at all, i made a couple of groves in the bumper for the lugs did some genral re shaping of the bumper round the bottom corners and it was all good.

So Dave other than removing the badge and filling it in, you didn't have to cut the bumper at all? My debadged GSi bumper should arrive soon from fat_rew and I'd love to fit this grill!
