my mate had one of the black mk3 gsi astra's on a r plate.

they came as standard from vauxhall with bilstein dampers and springs too i think.

They were lovely, I was on AutoTrader lastnight and there was a R-reg GSi in blue, had only done 52k miles and the owner wanted 2.5k.

R reg GSi's have the worst engines out of the lot - except from the 1.8. 2.5 isn that much of a bargain

It was immaculate, I know the later models had the X20XEV and were dogshit, but its easily changed.

Has the later spec Steering Wheel, with the chrome badge. Not the rubbish R-Reg wheel that had the Black airbag cover.
