Hi, kind of got into a bit of a race with a 1.2 twinport against my 1.2 B. He was driving like a stupid kid, slowing down and tapping his brakes on all the time, so i thaught ok, go for it try and get past him, managed it in 3rd, but as i was just geting infront of him he started to pull past me. I was wondering how much more BHP do these have compared to the older 1.2's?

I thought B's were 65 ad C's were 70?
There a couple of people I know with SXi B's and the ones with the red SXi sticker go better than the ones with the other stranger looking sticker.
Dunno if it coincidence or red stciker are quicker?

the very late B's have the same engines in a the C (75bhp) the twinprot had 80BHP due to a better inlet system.
that how i understand it

yes mate, works like a nicotine patch, only the red SXi badges are soaked in N2O, and it leaks into the paintwork and makes yer engine go faster.
FFS 1.2's racing makes me chuckle

the main difference is in the inlet, there are 2 siwrl valves/butteryfly per each cylinder, at low rev one valve is shut, which makes the intake air travel the long way in the inlet, this produces more tourque. at higher rpm the other valve opens and the 1st on shuts, which makes the intake air travel the short rout in the inlet creating more power

the corsa b 1.2 16v sxi has 65 bhp and the c 1.2 16v sxi has 75 bhp, they are the same engines in both the sxi's but the corsa c has a better (different) air induction system and a slightly different ecu setup but the power to weight ratio is more in a corsa b 1.2 than it is in the c hope this helps

i think the stickers are jsut different for the colours
blue black and silver got the gay circular one with little sxi written on it
my red one had the chunky red and black sticker which i've just took off mine about half hour ago
