got a K800i, loaded the CD on my poota as it says. Fine

It told me to plug in my phone using the USB cable...

I then click HOW TO CONNECT,

and it says my phone isnt conneted, despite the fact im looking straight at the f*cking thing.

Now windows auto wizard thing keeps say "ooooo you have new hard wear"

so i say, YES, I DO, INSTAL IT FFS. and it searches, does stuff, then says finished.

so i try it again, (clicking HOW TO CONNECT) and it searches, ans AGAIN cant find the dam phone. it shows the erricson icon in the corner with a cross over it,...

ideas people?

i didnt bother with the software, i thought it was shit.

i clicked no to "install new hardware" and now it just shows up as a new disc drive when you connect it.

might be worth trying to uninstall everything and try it that way

i was just about to give up n do that mate...

now it says its connected, and when i hover over the icon, it calls it a MEMORY STICK

does this matter?

mine just worked, didnt use the shitty software either.

is there any deacent 3rd party stuff that i can export my contacts to?
