Ok, I ring Orange, they tell me that Pay & Go DOESNT do Student Deals
yet online, it says they do... and it looks to have been updated recently...
Whats what??? Do they or Dont they??

They do IIRC, but IIRC it will be trivial benefits.
What does the website specify? How many people did u talk to at orange, could have been that the person u spoke to didnt know!

rang about 4 times now, first time was about 9 months ago, but all times I was told the student deal for P&G was discontinued and only available on Pay Monthly...
I 'would' do Pay Monthly, but my credit score is absolute cack so I cant do it

The student PAYG offers used to be something like 1000 free texts for the first 3 months - not worth it IMO, they were doing a deal where you get free texts when you top up every month (like O2 online, don't know if they still do).
Chances are, if the person you spoke to was in India then it was a lie.

well currently my phone is tied in with a family deal of my ex, so I get £10 per month free, BUT I also have the free evening & weekend calls on my PAYG tarrif for £10 a month, so I get the free credit, free calls, but I want free texts
