My brothers, just bought himself a M reg Cavalier 2.0, and the paintwork is a bit dull, doesn't look like its been polished for ages!

I'm just wondering what the best way to go about bringing it upto like new paint?

I.e claying it?

I'm currently off work, and I said that I would clean it up for him if he left it at my house, which he has done.

Get it buffed by a valeter or a bodyshop. Doing it by had will be mega work...

Though to do it by hand you need some compound or a polish which has abrasive properties. Then you need to wax it up to protect the paint again.
