Sorry to charge into your post mate but also thinking about this. M-tech kit aswell?
Wondering if anyone can tell me how much of a differance it will make aswell?

makes a big difference. and easy to fit. takes about 20 mins to do.
jack up car and put on axle stands.
remove the pin that joins the linkage to the rod on the gearbx
remove the pin clip that hold the linkage onto the gearbox mount
disconnect the linkage from the gearstick shaft
take out the complete linkage.
refit the quickshift linkage in the same method as removing it
set up the gear linkage to the correct position.
