its not a prgram coz it echos the msn beep and the normal computer sounds and music aswell...

ow right because if was a program then just mess around witht the settings.

Try some different speakers and see if you still get the echo.

chances are you have selected some effect setting, like reverb/delay etc Look at the "mixer" that came with the soundcard - ie: Creative Mixer, or Nvidia Mixer and have a look in the settings, should be able to turn it off from in there
