Hi im selling my recently purxhased Mk2 golf due to being paid off from work

It started life as a 1.6 driver but has had lots of work done to bring it to where it is now...

Its 1991 J-reg
purple in colour, had full respray (well done)
lowered on spax suspension kit, not just lowereing springs
GTI big bumpers
scorpion twin DTM exhaust
single round headlight conversion
badgeless grill
flushed boot with smaller numberplate recess, old panel completely cut out and small recess welded in)
every concieveable GTI part inside
boot popper on dash
6x9's sony explod
remote central locking & immobiliser

now for the good bit,

Rather than going the usuall route and fitting a mk2 gti engine, this one has had a mk3/corrado 2.0 16v fitted

no knocks rattles or smoke, this thing pulls like a train,

the only thing i could compare it to was my c20let corsa, its a lot faster than any of my other cars, corsa gsi, corsa sport, pug205 gti 1.9

it comes with 11MONTHS MOT and 1month tax

now the bad bits...

requires a bit of door trim on drivers side, (i tried to find one at scrappies but no golfs were in it)
drivers side electric window inop (electrics fine, just off the runner, may fix before sale)
rip in drivers seat,
GTI arches in boot, took off to check for rust after purchase (none whatsoever found)
standard wheels (alloys)

no stereo supplied

ive been totally honest about this car

£whats it worth? i know what i bought it for and i have fixed a number of wiring faults, a dodgy fan, boot popper, and its now MOT'd

sourced a new wing and the door trim last night, so thats what it needs to make it mint,

ill drop the price to £1500 just now,

but if i find some alloys ill put price back up accordingly

had a look at the window not working today, its a stretched cable,
i cannot find any golfs in the scrap yards around here, would be easy to fix if a cable was obtainable, but i grudge paying veedub prices
