Fitted new pads and discs today.Now when braking car judders like buggery!They are a 2lt setup by the way!

were they second hand?

If so the discs could be warped. As this is what was causing my brakes to judder.

If not, wheel balance?

no mate brand spanking!Didnt judder with old discs or pads on!It doesnt judder till i brake hard then the car gos mental.Wheel nuts tight as they can go.The discs are part drilled and grooved.

does it matter if the discs are not the same both sides.I mean the fact that the hubs might be 180 degrees out so the pad isnt hitting the grooves at the same time on both sides??

are your caliper bolts tightened properly?

Hmm jus sounds like uve got some warped disc's tbh ... I'll state the obvious .. Are they for YOUR car ? ie Engine ?

ill check tomorrow but i definately tightened up the carrier bolts and the caliper slider bolts.Put the alen key in and battered them with a hammer to tighten them loads!!!Used thread lock too.

2lt astra discs and pads to go with the 2lt calipers mate.Im thinkin that my local car shop is havin my pants down!!!

No mate 256mm dia by 24mm Thick.

sorted it today!a bolt on suspension had come loose so caked it in Thread lock!!
