Depends on the box. Some just sort it out for you, some need some prep on the drive first.

I have just checked the menu on the box and it has the option to Format HD.
So i guess it shoudl be as simple as change drive aned then format.

It works...swapped out the existing 80mb for an old 40mb to see if it was compatible and it works fine.
Will order a 250mb one tommorrow
