I need alittle advice. For a month or two (probabaly longer) ive noticed a damp patch of what looks like oil on the side of my engine (C14NZ). Its always wet whenever i look and it never seems to dry out. I think it may be leaking oil, but theres never any oil spots under the car when its parked or anything, so i cant decide if its just a patch that wont dry or if it is leaking oil (i should probabaly clean it and check ).
I have a small feeling that the oil level may be too high, the car was serviced at a garage as soon as i got it, but every time ive checked the oil it always seems to be (alot) over the max, although i cant decide if im checking it wrong or if it is too full. So, is this likely to be caused because the level is too high or do i have a seal going?
PS: The flash on the camera makes this look worse than it is...but it is noticeably wet and oil like

that would be the distrutor rubber seal no dout. to check the oil (after driving) leave for 5 mins, pull out the dip stick, clean well with a rag, put back on, pull out and should between the indented marks, if over then there is too much oil
