Next week i begin a 10 week course to introduce beginners to digital photography.

So far i plan to teach

Terminology and Acronyms related to photography
Functions of the Canon Ixus camera (the one the students will be using)
Composition Techniques (rule of thirds/lines etc)
How to download photographs to a computer
Editing Photographs with photoshop (brightness, selections, colour changing, layers etc)

Can anyone think of anything else i can fit in there. i have 10 weeks to play with and each session is two hours long. i've taught this before but it was for only 6 weeks.

Thanks

p.s these people are total beginners

Sounds good too me, I'm hoping to study photography soon. I joined a 'camera club' but its run by a bunch of old pervs so I'm giving it a miss I only know the basics, I got a Nikon D50 a few weeks ago but really need to learn the proper techniques
