we beat them 7-0 last time round, so why not the high predictions? We'd scored 12 goals in the previous 4 games aswell

STFU, firstly in terms of conduct neither of them have put a foot wrong at liverpool. Loads of players get second chances, just because pennat was meant to be your rooney and he went off the rails doesn't mean he can't redeem himself.

Bellamy infront of goal has been very poor so far, but he will come good I know it

Pennat is starting to show a bit of what he can do, and he's been given a bit more free roam by rafa (and a goals target) which will hopefully see him running at people a bit more and growing in confidence.
We shall see dude

I'll give you that, i'm pretty sure we'll see

Examples of people making these predictions?

Erm ok

Nath said 9-0 to Man Utd (granted this was probably more of a joke but still implied that he thought Man Utd were going to trounce Southend - as well all know wasn't the case was it )
You said 3-0 to Man Utd

Cosmo stated 3 or 4 to Liverpool for last night's match.
Tom also said 3 or 4

Need I go on?

Seems not enough respect is given to other (lesser) sides.

You of all people should know that cup games can be a whole different ball game Cosmo. Players being rested, not enough respect given to lower division sides and many other factors all contribute to very different scorelines sometimes.

one result.

The majority of the predictions on here seem to be 2-0, 3-0, 4-0 in the favour of whoever that person supports

Yes but to be fair if we beat a 'lesser' side we normally do it convincingly. Was commented during the match that the bigger teams usually only get the win against lower league teams if they go for it tooth and nail.

I wouldn't class Birmingham as a lesser side though.
