It's interesting how these consoles could be classed as super computers
at 2.1TFLOPS, the PS3 is a supercomputer
compared to the IBM BlueGene, thats like comparing a 8086 to a Intel Core Duo
at 2.3TFLOPS, the PS3 will make the TOP500 list.... and when you refer to the BlueGene, are you talking about BlueGene/Q?

so its now gone from 2.1 to 2.3TFLOPS fook me I want an ever increasing performance chip
and it will not make the top500... the slowest machine on there is 2.73TFLOPS...
please give google a rest...

agree. Yeah the games look stunning in HD but on a normal widescreen they still look great.

its only 400odd quid to save up to get one if it is better/better games etc so im not really fussed, its not like once youve bought a 360 you're not allowed to buy a ps3 so im sure most ppl will just have both

maybe, but he's 100% correct in what he is saying And no, the PS3 won't make the super computer top 500, too slow and all theories - it's like saying, if i eat enough baked beans i could fart myself to light speed and go back in time
