will make a lot of difference on a red car
Think it basically cuts a thin layer of lacquer off the top (ie dirty lacquer) and leaves clean lacquer on the surface
EDIT:It will make a red car look like new

It wont make a difference unless the lacquer is really thin on the car mate, had mine done a while ago and it made no difference

Costs from £60-£100 as far as I am aware...IMHO will make a difference on anycar..It's and intense polish that will make it shine...Uses cutting compound and reveals new paint/laquer (i think)
Eck it must have made a difference on the car just not to the slight different colour on the panels??

We charge around £80 - £120 depending how bad the car is to mop and any car can look great with a mop (full body polish).
Basically what i use is a compound head on a machine polisher and some Farecla G3 or G4 compound and basically work it into the body work, then we use a Compound that is a finer polish and a 100% lambs wool head and polish that over and finished off with a wax to make the car all look lovely and shiny!
you can do it your self but with a machine polisher and a compound head you need to know what ur doing or you can burn through the paint and down to the bare plastic/metal!

I used some 3M Finesse on my car the other week. Did the job nicely. Strange about the laquer, if it's thin you can't compound polish it because you will take it off and be left with exposed colour which is a bad thing...

Was told to only use G3 in scratches because it's not really meant for tidying things up all over. Did a good job on the scrape on my door though
