Well after buying a brand new set of genuine Anni RC alloys.i had my old ones kicking around in the shed so thought i would have a go at cleaning them up so that i can either sell them or run them as winter wheels.so made a start the other day.

1st job was to get all the old laquer off which i did with some paint stripper, sounds harsh but got all the old laquer off a treat.

2nd job was to sand out all the old corrosion marks which i did with some 1200 wet and dry then some 1500 wet and dry.

3rd job was to start to polish them back up which i have just started to do with some wire wool and peek metal polish, this is the result so far after 3 hours work.

Pretty happy with them at the mo,just needs so more hard work to finish them off.

got bored of the polishing takes ages to get in all the gaps.
Anyway trial painted one in diamond black pearl to see what it looked like.not sure tbh obviously i will paint the centres to match but need some input from you guys ignore the runs was a 10minute job.

Was going to say why not paint them black after the first couple of pics. May aswell do them different to the standard ones.

Yep think they would look good in black. If they look pap re-do them when you have your polished ones back on.

The centres look quite good left polished against the black, reminds me of the rims that Bek had, can't remember what they were though.

I think they look good in black, but I'm not sure how black wheels on a black car will look.
