I know its been done to death but they have risen again last week and will do again they reckon after christmas
What do you reckon they will rise to
I think around 8%
We will never see the 16% in the early 90's

its at 5% isnt it now? It wont go anywhere near 8%, will more likely rise by the normal .25% or .5% if it does.

Won't go up to 8% thats a ridiculous rise. If they do go up that high the goverment will step in and reduce them straight away.

Not sure how they could do that Oliver...interest rates are contolled by the bank of england.
Not that i'm bothered...seems i will be saying to my mortgage next year

Hald of my mortgage is fixed for 5 yrs the other 100 odd grand expires next yr sometime, hope they dont go up too much again as well be fixing for 5 yrs hopefully...
