Hi i have a 1.2 16v ecotec, and i want to know why it is miss-firing ive changed the sparkplugs ive had the o2-sensor done ive done the mass air flow meter and now the engine management light stays off thats 1 problem out the way but its still miss-firing what else could it be?????
would it have any thing to do with the piper x air filter or the power flow exhaust?? HELP PLEASE

When does it misfire? Under load, just on idle? Have you tried the car with the proper airbox back on? As from what i've seen induction kits bring nothing but trouble, especially on the 1.2 16v engines.

no i havent but have been really considering it. it misfires when you try and pull off when its been idling for 15secs or more

Does it do it everytime, or just when engine is cold? Personally i'd get the airbox back on and go from there, see if that makes a difference.
Induction kit won't be helping anything at all anyway and certainly won't be improving anything.

Yea it does it all the time even when its warm, n yea i havent felt no accelaration increase since ive put it in!!! but then again it is a 1.2!!! what can u expect.

might be the head gasket m8 had the same problem recently.
