How hard is it to get a 360 to go online? I have a D-link wireless router at home, can it connect to that? I assume I will need a wireless card for the xbox....
What ports need forwarding on the router?

Fantastic, What about when I am in uni when I have a wired connection to a netgear router, Can I plug a ethernet cable direct into the xbox?

yep no need to mess around with ports etc, only with certain modems iirc.
