we have just today finished installing our new sbs 2003 server and already ive wondered how we got by without it.

Ive just been configuring Sharepoint, adding content, setting user names as different accounts (reader, contributor, webmaster, admin etc).
The majority of users are just readers, but they can still 'Add Announcements' on the front page.
Is this an authentication problem, or something im doing wrong?

I havent clicked "save and close" with a reader, but the link is there and takes you to the page.

If anyone could explain why, and how to fix it, in simple terms it would be much appreciated.

Adam
