I took this picture the other day -
Now, I like it, but I want the white gate thing in the background removing.
I've got no idea how to do this, so if someone can show me how, or do it for me, that'd be great.

pics looking real good mate
Here's my attempt: (i used the 1024x768 pic)
- i used the lasso tool to select an area below the object you want to remove,
- copy & paste into a new layer and use this to cover the object
- you can then use the smudge/paint tool to roughly get the tones/colours & the 2 layers blended together
- select the area you have been working on & > filter > noise
thats just how i quickly edited the pic, i am sure there are better more efficient ways of doing it

For the record, I reckon this would be slightly easier using the clone-stamp tool.
does the same job, just all in one go - and is great for editing stuff out.

thought so i know what you mean tho i cant seem to find many places with a good backdrop, nothing worth travelling for a picture anyway lol
