iv had my fk's for two years and they have been good as gold...touch wood i think they might get a bad press some times because alot of people have them and due to the state of our roads coilovers in genaral get a good beating! mine are down nearly all the way on the front and maximum on the rear and the roads in herts are a rek! im glad they put up with it...

most are stiff as hell and shake your teeth out. you need to be looking at avo/leda/koni/kw coilovers to get anything any good for a corsa.
i believe Dave A is securing a deal with Avo on there coilovers if you really want coilovers that is, you may want to ask him. think he may have put a thread up about them a few days ago, have a look for that first.
my opinion is - if you after handling get a Bilstein Suspension kit for about 400 notes (Original style dampers and springs)
or if you are after ride height adjustment and a stiff ride dont spend any less than about 500 notes on coilovers, but even then i doubt they will make it handle much or hardly any better than bilsteins.

Yup me too. My mate's are are 4-5months old. Come to adjust them, and they've rusted so much, he snapped the adjuster on the suspension! so now he cant adjust them

I have an account with Gaz and can do some great deals, fitted one of their basic kits the other day and posted this thread up about it:

soooo comfy on the softest damping setting as well. not crashy or harsh even on the hardest. highly reccomended

theres not much in it handling wise between these and the bilteins, but probably cost the same. my bilsteins have the tarmac rally spec springs and damper inserts as well.

the guy in question had not assembled them properly.
i have had my fk's for over 6 months now with no probs, you just need to keep them greased and get the camber properly set up.
they are a wee bit harsh on the roads but if you can put up with it they are good for budget kit

well the only coilovers that are adjutable on ride height on the rear are the FK's
i think avo might do a kit that the rears are height adjustable too with proper rear coilover style dampers.
